We had a rest day in Namche because we were already at 3400m and only 3 days out of KTM. This coincided with all of use feeling unwell - luckily with the comfort of a nice lodge. We spent the day sitting in the restaurant playing cards with some american peace corp volunteers we met, and also made a trip to Herman's Bakery to show Sian (one of the volunteers) what it meant to have "tea" in the afternoon.
