At the beginning of 2002 two friends from work - Dan and Jamie, suggested I joined them on a trekking holiday in the Himalayas. It took very little persuasion to me to come along:
"Wanna come along Mark?"
"Nah, I'd love to come but I can't afford it."
"Go on - it'll be great"
"OK I'll come."
The three of us went with our partners at the time - Jo, Olive and Amanda. It was my first visit to Nepal and I loved the place. The trek was outstanding. This is a VERY cut down selection of photos from the trek, which give you a little glimpse into how beautiful the place was.
